APS is an active advocate for academic pediatrics via the PPC, an influential advocacy collaborative. in January 2019, APS Member Dr. Scott Denne, MD will Chair the PPC and lead APS’ advocacy for children and academic pediatrics at the federal level. Responsibilities |
3-year term (Fall 2018- Spring 2021) on Advocacy Committee Monthly PPC conference calls; Quarterly Committee calls 1 in-person Advocacy Committee meeting at the PAS Meeting. Email correspondence, sometimes time-sensitive |
Qualifications |
Recognized academic pediatric leader Significant contributions to or interest in child health advocacy Interest in collaborating with PPC organizations |
