Dear APS Member,

In light of the recent cancellation of the PAS 2020 Meeting, we want to assure our members that the leaders of APS and PAS are working closely to address the many questions surfacing from this difficult decision. We have heard from many of you, and know you share our belief this action was necessary to protect and restore the health of our world’s population.

We also have heard many creative and generous ideas from our membership.  Many of you have asked if it will be possible to make a donation to the APS at this time of special challenge for our society.  We are very appreciative of your generosity and will work through this and other questions as quickly as possible. The APS and the PAS are truly grateful for your support, understanding, and patience during this difficult time.

The current PAS 2020 Meeting cancellation notice with frequently asked questions can be found on the PAS website at https://2020.pas-meeting.org. More details and answers will be communicated to APS members as they become available via email, the APS Digest, and the PAS and APS websites.
