Career Support Committee: Request for Member Input
We are calling upon APS' distinguished child health leaders, like yourself, to share their experiences and contribute their valuable resources, to create a meaningful career transitions platform unique to APS members.
To best develop programs to support career transitions by APS members, the committee is assembling information for an APS member's guide to resources when planning or considering career transitions.
These could include:
- Planning transition to or from leadership roles
- Retirement
- Late-career planning tools
- Sabbatical planning guides
We hope to curate a list of resources, perhaps with prior users' comments and recommendations as to their utility, for member access on the APS website.
If you or your institution or other groups you have been part of have material that you have used and have found useful, we would appreciate your sending a link or a copy to us, along with your comments about how and what they helped you with.

Upload any electronic resources and tell us if you are willing to be contacted to discuss the material and your experiences using them if we have additional questions.
If you have any questions about this request, please contact APS Career Transition Sub-committee Members: Candice Fike (candice.fike@hsc.utah.edu) or Jonathan D. Klein (jonklein@uic.edu)
